Hi everyone,

Week 2 begins with an introduction to social networking.  If you attended the first Learning 2.0 brownbag, you heard how much socializing in the online world is a part of our world today, and not just for teenagers.  We touched on some of the issues related to social networking, and I hope the lesson this week will help you understand a little more about “social networking,” what it means in simple terms and the potential implications for libraries.  We will see how libraries are using social networking environments to reach out to their users and think about possible implications of these kinds of tools for EKU libraries.
