Hello everyone!

If you have been following along with the Learning 2.0 program, you have watched a video about Web 2.0.  Maybe you even left a comment.  Today, it’s your turn to start experimenting.  With today’s lesson, you will create your own blog and, if you like, explore a few other blogs created by librarians.

Ready!  Set!  Go get a blog!  http://ekulibrarylearning.blogspot.com/2007/06/3-ready-set-go-get-blog.html

After you set your blog up, be sure to send an email to ekulibrarylearning at gmail dot com to get registered.

A note on blogging:  it is *absolutely* *OK* for you to blog anonymously.  Set up a blogger profile and blog name that does not reveal your name, if you would feel more comfortable.  The planning committee must know which blog is whose in order to track progress, but we will not reveal those details to the rest of the world.  These exercises are being created for you to have fun, to explore and to play in addition to learning, and it’s important to us that you find your own comfort level.

The same applies to comments—anonymous is ok, but please respect the space, respect others and respect the ideas expressed.

See you online!
